Your quick start guide to making your first sale with BANA.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:
- Completed the Onboarding Process.
- Received your Account Credentials (via email/SMS).
- Downloaded the BANA App or have a web browser ready.
Quick Start Steps
Follow this 5-minute guide to get your store operational.
1. Login to Your Account
Mobile App:
- Download BANA from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).
- Open the app and tap Login.
- Enter your credentials.
- Complete OTP verification (if this is your first login).
Web Dashboard:
- Navigate to app.bana.com.vn.
- Enter your username and password.
- Select your business (if you manage multiple).
2. Configure Business Profile
Ensure your invoice information is accurate.
- Go to Settings > Business Profile.
- Verify and update the following fields:
- Business Name (Must match registration)
- Address (Physical store location)
- Tax ID (MST) (Critical for e-invoices)
- Contact Information
- Click Save Changes.
3. Set Up Payment Methods
Enable the ways you want to get paid.
- Go to Settings > Payments.
- Toggle the desired payment methods:
- ✅ QR Code (VNPAY QR) - Recommended for speed
- ✅ Cash - Standard option
- (Optional) Perform a test transaction of 1,000 VND to verify.
4. Add Your First Product
Build your catalog to start selling.
- Navigate to the Products menu.
- Click + Add Product.
- Enter the essential details:
- Name: e.g., "Iced Coffee"
- Price: e.g., "25,000"
- Category: e.g., "Beverages"
- Tax Rate: Select the applicable VAT rate (e.g., 10%)
- Click Save.
- Repeat for your top-selling items.
5. Make Your First Sale 🚀
You are ready! Let's process a transaction.
- Open the POS screen (in App or Web).
- Tap on your newly created product to Add to Cart.
- Tap Checkout / Charge.
- Select a Payment Method (e.g., Cash).
- Enter the amount received and tap Complete.
- Success! The system will record the sale and generate a receipt.
